Steven and Coconut Treez is an homage to the concept of solo reggae music from Indonesia. The band was due to obsession Steven, who is also brother Micky AFI to work. With the support of many musicians, Steven and Coconut Treez managed to produce works whose themes taken from everyday life, be it social or love. At December 18, 2007, Steven and Coconuttreez had lost one of its personnel, Teddy (percussion) who died after suffering chronic lung disease. Teddy was hospitalized and comatose, but had recovered.
